Hello everyone,
Today we will be making Christmas Baubles for your mindees or your own little ones!
You’ll only need a few items which you can get from an arts and crafts store such as Hobbycraft or TheWorks:
- Fillable Bauble
- Glitter
- Tacky Glue
- Ribbons
- Gift Tag
- Christmas Tree Decoration (optional)
- Painting Brush
- Invisible Thread

We will start by mixing the tacky glue with the glitter of your choosing. You will then be able to paint the inside of the fillable bauble and apply any extra decorations such as golden stars.

Allow the baubles to dry for 24-48 hours, once dry the glue will turn clear.
At this stage we can start filling our baubles, I did this by hanging a mini Christmas tree decoration to the inside with the help of invisible thread.

I measured every child’s height and cut the ribbon to match, I also place this inside the bauble and closed it. I applied the smallest amount of tape to the bottom of the bauble to keep it secure.

I used the gift tags to write a small poem such as ”This ribbon is very special as you will see…Take it out and it’s the same size as me!” and included the height, child’s name and year.

This is simple to make but a wonderful keepsakes for parents – if you try this out, please share your creations with us!
Have a wonderful Christmas everyone & a happy new year.
– Helena
