Hi, my name is Helena and I’m an Ofsted Registered Childminder in the Hillingdon area.
I have over 10 years experience, from having raised two daughters of my own to previously working in a nursery and then as a nanny of twin boys for 4 years until they went into their reception year.
I became a childminder in April 2014 which has given me the opportunity to work closely with children in my own setting. Being a childminder is a very rewarding job – every day is completely different where both the children and I learn something new but also, have a lot of laughter and fun in process. Along with me, my younger daughter also occasionally helps out with the children – mostly with the messiest activities – she’s also been registered as a Childminding Assistant.
My setting offers a warm and friendly environment for children aged from 6 months until 3 years old. I provide the best care possible to all the children that attend LenaChildcare’s setting and have received a Good Ofsted grade.
I continuously try to attend as many of the courses that are available, this helps me to keep LenaChildcare up to date on the knowledge required to continue providing the best childcare I can for your child. Below you can find all the qualifications and certificates that I have acquired:
- CACHE – Homebased Childcare Level 3
- British Red Cross – Paediatric First Aid
- Safeguarding Training by Hillingdon Early Years
- Preventing FGM
- Channel General Awareness
I also have other trainings and refreshers that I have attended to. We can go through these together at the initial visit and at any point that is mutually agreed throughout the time that your child attends LenaChildcare’s setting.
